Performance marketing for film and apps

Paid ads for a release that has one window and one budget.

We build the creative, buy the media, and show you what every view, install and signup actually cost — run from one system, against one definition of what counts, with the rules written down before they are applied rather than explained afterwards.

We run Meta Google YouTube TikTok Apple Search Ads

The work

What we do

We run the paid advertising for a film release or a consumer app, across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok and Apple Search Ads, for budgets small enough that every rupee has to be accounted for and large enough to be worth running properly.

A release has a short window and a fixed amount to spend inside it. The money usually goes out through four different account interfaces, each with its own idea of what a conversion is, and by the time anyone adds it up the film is out.

We run all four from one system, against one definition of what counts, and the decisions it makes are written down before they are made rather than explained afterwards.

The fit

Who we do this for

Films, from a first feature to a franchise

A trailer, a date and a budget is enough to start. Most of our work is on the first or second film, where there is no agency on retainer and no in-house team — but the method does not change with the size of the release, only the budget does.

Shorts, songs, teasers and series

Anything with a release window and something worth watching. A song launch and a trailer are the same problem: a short burst of attention to buy well, with the watch-through telling you whether you bought it.

Apps that need users, not impressions

We run our own four apps on this platform before we run anyone else’s. The target is an activated user or a qualified lead, never an install that opens once.

The sequence

How a release runs

1. The angle library, not a folder of ads

We study what is already working in the category and record the angle — the hook, the promise, the proof, the call to action — rather than copying the file. Then we make eight of our own versions of it, because a clone is already fatigued in the auction before it runs.

2. Creative built for the placement it runs in

Square, tall, vertical and wide, in the language the audience actually watches in — Telugu and English as a pair as standard, other Indian languages where the release needs them. Every video carries its hook in the first three seconds, which is not a style preference — it is where the skip decision is made.

3. Six rules, and the robot that follows them

Scale, hold, kill, rotate, rebalance, shift. The thresholds are written down and versioned, so when a decision is questioned we can show which rule made it, on which night, against which numbers.

4. A hard ceiling we control

Every campaign has a daily spend ceiling enforced in our system, not only in the ad platform. A platform-side cap is one settings change away from gone.

5. A report you can check

What was spent, where it went, what it bought, and what the system did on its own. Frozen when it is sent, so the copy you have is the copy we have.

What you get

What arrives, and when.

Every engagement includes all of this. None of it is an upsell, and the ad budget is never part of our fee.

Creative in volume, not one hero cut

Eight or more distinct angles, each built for the placements it runs in — square, vertical, tall and wide — from whatever footage and stills you already have. One cut tested against nothing is a guess with a budget attached.

Every platform, run from one place

Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok and Apple Search Ads, against one definition of what counts. You do not get five reports that disagree about how many people you reached.

A decision every night, with the reason attached

Budget moves to what is working while the window is still open, and every move records the rule and the numbers that caused it. Nothing waits for a weekly call.

A report that is frozen when it is sent

What was spent, what it bought, what each result cost, and what the system did on its own — broken down by platform, creative and city. The copy you have is the copy we have, permanently.

Your accounts and your money stay yours

Campaigns run in accounts you own, under your business portfolio, with us given access. Ad spend goes from you to the platform and never through us. If we stop working together, the accounts, the history and the audiences stay with you.

No retainer to start

One film, one window, one report. If it works we talk about the next one; if it does not, you are not tied to anything.

The difference

Why this rather than an agency

The price you agreed is the price you are invoiced

Our rate card is a versioned record. When it is revised, work already agreed is still priced at the version you signed — not because we promise to remember, but because the invoice can only be derived from the frozen copy of the card.

Nothing is decided in a spreadsheet nobody kept

Every action the system takes names the rule set version that caused it. A year later, "why was this paused" has an answer that does not depend on anyone’s memory.

We built the tool, so it does what we say

Keyart runs on software we wrote for these campaigns. When something needs to work differently for your release, that is a change we make, not a feature request to a vendor.

Before you commit

What you can check before any money moves.

We would rather be judged on the method than on a testimonial, so here is the method in the detail you would need to argue with it.

The angle library, in writing

Before anything is made we show you what is already working in your category and what we think the hook is — written down as a list of angles you can disagree with, not a mood board.

The test plan, with the split

A small part of the budget goes across every angle for the first few days, before any of it is committed. You see that split before it runs, and you see what it bought before the rest is spent.

The creative, before it goes live

Every cut and still is approved by you. Nothing runs on your title that you have not seen.

A worked example of the report

Ask and we will send a filled-in report from one of our own apps — our spend, our numbers, our mistakes — so you know exactly what you will receive at the end and can decide whether it tells you anything useful.

Before you ask

Questions we are asked first

Do you need my ad accounts?

We run from accounts you own, under your business portfolio, with us given access. If the engagement ends the accounts, the history and the audiences stay with you.

Who pays the platforms?

The ad spend is yours and goes on your card or your account’s payment method. Our fee is separate and is on the rate card. We never take the spend into our account and bill it onward.

What is the minimum?

There is a minimum ad budget per campaign, shown on the pricing page. Below it the learning phase never finishes and the money is spent teaching the platform rather than reaching anyone.

Can I see what the system did?

Yes. Every automated action is recorded with the rule and the numbers behind it, and the report you get is the record, not a summary written afterwards.

Which languages do you write in?

Telugu and English as standard, and they ship as a pair rather than one instead of the other — a Telugu-only test against an English control is two experiments at once and settles neither. Other Indian languages where a release needs them; tell us the audience and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right people to write for it.

Tell us the release date, the budget and what you want counted. If the budget is too small to work we will say so rather than take it.
